The project “DEVELOPING A NEW TECHNIQUE THROUGH IMMUNOAFINITY FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF NEUROLOGICAL SYNDROMES ASSOCIATED WITH LUNG CANCER” will be developed over 3 years and seeks the research and development of a diagnostic technique for syndromes neurological diseases associated with lung cancer, using the ELISA technique (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay). The result of the project aims to demonstrate that the ELISA technique is as or more sensitive than radioimmunoassay techniques (RIA: Radio-Immune Assay) by replacing the radioactive isotopes and toxins that it uses, by the use of antigen-antibody complexes which are monitored by enzymatic reactions.
