The project “DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW TECHNIQUE THROUGH IMMUNOAFFINITY FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF NEUROLOGICAL SYNDROMES ASSOCIATED WITH LUNG CANCER”will be developed over a period of 3 years and seeks the research and development of a diagnostic technique for neurological disease syndromes associated with lung cancer, using the ELISA technique (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay). The result of the Project aims to demonstrate that the ELISA technique is equal to or more sensitive than radioimmunoassay techniques (RIA: Radio-Immune Assay) by replacing the radioactive isotopes and toxins it uses, with the use of antigen-antibody complexes that are monitored by enzymatic reactions.
