Santo Domingo<\/strong>. The National Evangelical University, UNEV, and its Academic Council, recognized 36 researchers this Monday for their contributions to science and technology, in a ceremony held in the building of the Faculty of Business Sciences (FACEDE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was headed by the rector of the institution, Eng. Epifanio Gonz\u00e1lez Minaya, who was accompanied by authorities representing the different work areas of the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday our academy pays tribute and has called us to recognize 36 of its members who have contributed to the advancement of a research culture from the academy, contributing to the development of the country. I can announce with satisfaction that as a result of the efforts of these researchers we are in the process of obtaining two patents,\u201d added the rector of UNEV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The researchers honoured are Alberto Julio N\u00fa\u00f1ez Sell\u00e9s, director of Research at UNEV for the Entowaste and Mango projects as a Senior Researcher, and as a collaborator in the C\u00e1scara Cascarilla, Tribicard and Promancoa projects. Alejandro Julio Abril Gonz\u00e1lez, professor and scientific researcher in the area of \u200b\u200bHumanities, for the Ca\u00f1a energ\u00e9tica and Promancoa projects. Antonio Selman Almonte, full academic, Dominican Academy of Medicine; C\u00e9sar Ernesto L\u00f3pez Cabrera, researcher and member of the FEU, as head of the Organic Cocoa and Sargassum project. Helmut Betancourt Dalmasi, affiliated researcher,<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

to the National Career of Researchers of the Dominican Republic, was awarded for the projects Ovejas Katahdyn, and Sargazos, Luis Orlando Maroto Mar\u00edn, member of the National Commission of the Biology Career of the University of Havana for Inmudian\u00f3stico, Mar\u00eda Dolores Durruthy Rodr\u00edguez, member of the Cuban Society of Physics for the project Pel\u00edcula, Matxy and Cer\u00e1micas. Marisol Ventura L\u00f3pez, member of the Dominican Society of Agricultural and Forestry Researchers as a senior researcher in the C\u00e1scara Cascarilla project; Marlen Ramil Mesa, head of the Pilot Plant at the UNEV Research Center, as a collaborator in the Cer\u00e1micas and Promancoa projects. Also Licda. Miledy Santana de Guerrero, in charge of planning at UNEV; Mois\u00e9s Hern\u00e1ndez Garc\u00eda as principal investigator in the Ceramics and Films project, Natalia de la Caridad Vega, also for Films, Rafael Guill\u00e9n Marmolejos and Rodolfo Antonio N\u00fa\u00f1ez Musa, for Tribicard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
